A Career Built on Curiosity and Painful Lessons
Dr. Andrew Stotz began his finance career in Thailand in 1992, driven by a passion for markets and a belief that smart investing could change lives. But like many investors, he learned his hardest lessons the painful way: losing money, making mistakes, and rebuilding with hard-won wisdom.
Those losses became the foundation of A. Stotz Investment Research. Rather than hiding from failure, Andrew built a practice dedicated to turning financial pain into practical knowledge for himself, his clients, and a global audience of learners.
Today, the firm combines rigorous investment research, data-driven wealth management, and hands-on business education. Every service we offer is rooted in real experience, not theory alone.

Co-founder of Valuation Master Class, training analysts worldwide. Host of the My Worst Investment Ever podcast with 800+ episodes. His All Weather Strategies have US$400M+ under advisement. Author of five books.

Managing Partner at A. Stotz Investment Research since 2013. Previously Senior VP at Maybank Kim Eng Securities and Investment Analyst at CLSA, Citi, and Macquarie. Deep expertise in accounting, financial modelling, and equity research.
